Welcome
to our website for The Bull at Shocklach. We are delighted
you’ve taken the opportunity to take a look at
these pages and it’ll hopefully give you an insight
into the changes that have taken place and the direction
we intend to follow.
Shocklach is a historic village set on the south-western
tip of Cheshire, a stones throw across the River Dee
to North Wales and only 15 minutes drive from Chester.
The Bull has been a very popular pub throughout the
80’s and 90’s but by 2007 it was obvious
a full refurbishment was needed to bring this village
pub back to life.
We’re a traditional village pub with lots of old
beams and an open fire. With unique tiled, stone and
wooden flooring, a funky new bar and unusual furniture
we’ve added a contemporary twist to this historic
hostelry.
We offer fabulous pub food, using the highest quality,
locally sourced ingredients combined with informal service
and a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. At the bar you’ll
find an extensive wine list, premium lagers and more
importantly, five hand pulls on which we showcase local
and national cask ales.
We hope we can welcome you to The Bull soon.
